Being unique is not so special ...

Being unique is NOT special. Everyone has DNA, retinas and finger prints that make them each and all distinguishable.  The irony in being uniquely you, is that biologically you already are!   Need help in being more of yourself?

Are you able to see your beauty?

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder," it is said.  This ONE belief might make it true. Self scheduling in mental health?

Self scheduling in mental health is often frowned upon. In MD practices, it's seen as perfectly reasonable. I find self scheduled clients more motivated, better at managing costs of care and seen when most clinically relevant and necessary.   Clients access services 24 hours a day online (no more M-F, 9 to 5 calling the office).

Less is better?

At least one study (there are actually many) shows nurses who work hard (to get more done) without rest perform lower and burn out sooner than those who engage in self care.  Sometimes less is better!

Subliminal Sex and Intimacy Levels

Friendships and romantic relationships grow in similar stages (they have different labels but they are indicators of developing and growing levels of intimacy whether a friendship or a sexual relationship).  Interestingly, when strangers ask each other questions, they are increasingly intimate in their inquiries of each other, they watch videos that contain subliminal sexual behaviors. I suspect that the reason is two-fold: dopamine levels increase (which is correlated to motivation) and oxytocin increases (which is correlated to trust and care).   Learn more here about couples and couples counseling.
